I am a native of Colorado's San Luis Valley and have spent my life in and around these mountains hunting, fishing, studying, photographing and appreciating the surroundings. They are my life and a part of my spiritual being. I have a commitment to caring for and preserving our mountains in their natural state. I have taught mountain survival and built and lived in snow caves.

Complete Package - I furnish a complete package hunt for a limited number of hunters who receive a comfortable camp, gentle mountain acclimated horses, professional and friendly guide service and above all - plenty of great food!
Drop Camp - We also furnish a drop camp which includes tents, camp gear, cookware and wood stoves. We pack you into camp along with your food and personal gear, and we pack you out along with your game. We also make arrangements to check on you during your hunt.
Lodge Camp Hunt - Want the comfort of a bed and lodge type atmosphere instead of a sleeping bag? Check into our Lodge Camp Hunt. Hunting is by 4-wheel drive and horseback.
Fishing & Camping - We take summer wilderness fishing and camping trips, fall archery and muzzle loading hunts, followed by our regular rifle hunts.
Wilderness Pack Trips venture into the remote back country along beautiful lakes and streams.
Photography & Wildlife Viewing - or just plain relaxing. Trips are from three to five days with gentle horses anyone can ride. Trips can be arranged for individuals, families or companies.
Through our Moon Valley Ranch Resort we offer hourly, 1/2 day or full day trail rides. There are beautiful nature hiking and riding trails right in back of our campground.
